As Chief Customer Officer, Debbie is responsible for the overall success of Vena’s hundreds of clients.
Debbie is an energetic operator with many years of experience in professional services and program implementation working with private and public sector clients across North America, the UK, and Africa. Most recently Debbie was the VP of Professional Services at Achievers, a Toronto-based SaaS software company. Outside the office, Debbie enjoys getting away to camp in the wilderness, cycling and traveling to new places.
Chief Solutions Architect
As Chief Solutions Architect, Rishi is responsible for the day-to-day operations and continued success of client implementations at Vena.
Rishi has helped many Fortune 500 companies re-engineer and optimize financial processes. His expertise in financial planning and regulatory reporting helped him to the position of Director of Enterprise Solutions at Clarity Systems before he co-founded Vena Solutions with Don Mal and George Papayiannis. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences from the University of Toronto, specializing in Computer Engineering and Communication Systems.
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, George directs all aspects of product development, research, engineering and delivery of Vena’s solutions.
Prior to co-founding Vena, George gained considerable experience in the software and technology industry in a variety of roles including development, consulting, architecture and design. In his most recent role as an Enterprise Software Architect at IBM, George led complex software architecture engagements for many Fortune 500 companies and managed a large, globally distributed development team based in Brazil, Beijing and France. George is seen as a thought leader in technology, speaking at numerous conferences on topics ranging from web architecture and design to the future of mobile web development. George holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McMaster University, specializing in Software Engineering, along with a major in Finance, focusing on Banking and Capital Markets.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Tina is responsible for ensuring the organization is fully aligned to execute our strategic plan which ultimately focuses on delivering an exceptional customer and employee experience.
Tina is a highly collaborative leader with extensive cross-functional experience in the Financial Services and Information Technology industries. She has held senior leadership roles in Customer Service, Strategy and Communications, Product Management, and Operations with a Canadian and North American scope. Most recently, Tina led the Canadian Sales Planning and Operations team at Apple Canada. She is a huge sports enthusiast, and especially enjoys watching her kids sporting events.
Chief Revenue Officer
As CRO, Neil is responsible for Vena’s sales, marketing and other revenue generating areas of the business.
Neil joined Vena after more than 20 years in the FP&A and corporate performance management (CPM) software space, from executive sales and operations roles at CPM market-maker Adaytum, to establishing and leading worldwide sales at Adaptive Insights through the largest growth period in the company’s history. He brings unparalleled industry expertise and appreciation for Vena’s product vision to his role in helping realize Vena’s full growth potential.
Neil holds an MBA and Master’s Degree in Accounting. When he’s not driving sales or streamlining customer finance functions, Neil is a proud dog and nature lover, and fierce opponent in strategy-based board games.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Darrell designs the forward-looking business strategies and long-range financial plans that sustain Vena’s growth.
With more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in finance and business development, Darrell is adept at assembling, directing and managing knowledgeable, dynamic Finance teams for such Fortune 500 companies as Virgin Mobile and Rogers Communication. As the former VP of Finance at FreshBooks, Darrell built a high performance Finance team and led the development of key business strategies, management KPIs and an entire system conversion. Darrell is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, with a focus on Finance and Economics.
Chief People Person
As Chief People Person, Tracey is spearheading the development and execution of Vena’s people strategy, culture initiatives and employment brand evolution.
Tracey is passionate about delivering an amazing candidate and employee experience that supports Vena’s business strategy and growth plans. She has experience across a variety of industries including both high-growth technology and large corporate organizations. Most recently Tracey was Vice President of Human Resources at Toronto-based software company, FreshBooks.
Outside of work, you’ll find Tracey at the ball park, hockey rink or ski hill with her boys or reading a good book!
