Vena’s Business Continuity Response to COVID-19

March 16, 2020 |
by Sample HubSpot User

As the situation surrounding the spread of COVID-19 continues to develop at a rapid pace, Vena Solutions is reaffirming its commitment to supporting its employees and customers around the world.

During these uncertain times, Vena recognizes that responsiveness, empathy and support for its employees, customers and community is of the utmost importance. The company also realizes that its customers depend on it for mission critical business processes. To that end, Vena wants to assure its customers and community that service and operations will continue safely and uninterrupted so they can continue to drive agile planning with quick, collaborative, and strategic decision-making.

Vena’s cloud service is designed with a high degree of redundancy and geographic fail-over capabilities. It also maintains policies and procedures for responding to emergencies, including a disaster recovery plan. Plus, the company’s geographically-dispersed team and flexible remote workforce have the resources and tools needed to work securely from any location. As of Friday, March 13, 2020, in the interest of protecting employees and doing its part to protect the community and mitigate the transmission of the virus, Vena has recommended that all Vena employees work from home wherever possible. The company will be keeping its offices open for employees who opt out of working from home, and is implementing additional in-office protocols to promote a safe working environment.

Vena will continue to carefully monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19, and follow advice from the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Public Health Agency of Canada, the UK Department of Health and Social Care, the Government of Canada, the U.S. Department of State, the UK Government, as well as other government and health officials in local communities where its employees and customers live and work. The company has also formed a COVID-19 Preparedness Team and will continue to assess plans and share relevant updates moving forward.
