Leadership organization recognizes Munro's ecosystem transformation, thought leadership and strategic contributions to community
TORONTO - Sept. 18, 2023 – Vena, the Intelligent Complete Planning platform loved by finance and trusted by business, is proud to announce that Partnership Leaders, the industry association for leaders in Partnership, Channel, Alliances and Business Development, has named Vena Chief Marketing and Ecosystem Officer Allison Munro as the recipient of the 2023 Award for Most Inspiring Woman in Partnerships.
This award, presented at this year’s Partnership Leaders conference, Catalyst, acknowledged the exceptional women leaders doing highly impactful and innovative work in partnerships, and recognized the most inspiring woman excelling as an industry leader.
“Supporting an environment in which women can thrive in the partnership industry has been a top priority since we started Partnership Leaders,” said Asher Mathew, Co-founder and CEO of Partnership Leaders. “This award was created and voted on by the Women in Partnerships group, which makes it even more of an accolade. Huge congratulations to Allison Munro for being such an inspiration to all.”
Munro joined Vena in 2020 as Chief Marketing Officer and took on the additional role of Chief Ecosystem Officer in 2022 to drive an integrated, transformational approach to the business, as we work to have an integrated go-to-market motion that creates value for our Partners, the market and our customers’ ecosystem. Her thought leadership and strategic, forward-thinking approach to marketing was a natural springboard for driving ecosystem transformation at Vena. Building that ecosystem mindset prioritizes our values of customer trust, one team and execution excellence as we zero in on our ideal customer profile, next-gen enablement and GTM, assessing complementary sectors, integrating data across the ecosystem and measuring the right impact metrics.
“Leading with an ecosystem mindset is about recognizing that your success is interconnected with the success of others in the ecosystem,” says Munro. “By adopting this mindset and taking deliberate actions to promote collaboration and sustainability, we can create a more resilient and prosperous ecosystem for all involved.”
Vena CEO Hunter Madeley says that this honor recognizes Munro’s tremendous leadership in driving business transformation through strategic ecosystem initiatives as well as her dedication to the Partnership Leaders community. “We’re thrilled that Allison was named the 'Most Inspiring Woman in Partnerships’ by Partnership Leaders. Her ability to identify win-win opportunities with complementary brands has been invaluable at Vena. She has forged strong relationships at the highest levels and represents our brand with integrity and vision.”
