Vena for Microsoft PowerPoint Officially in Open Beta

After inputting, reviewing and reporting on data in Vena, there is typically a need to prepare findings in a slide deck format to either be presented or shared with stakeholders. For Vena partners & customers, this is almost always done via PowerPoint.

Vena is launching a PowerPoint add-in that allows customers to incorporate Vena data in PowerPoint presentations. Users can sort, view, insert and refresh the generated images of their Charts, Tables, and Data Points from reports into PowerPoint presentations. This is a great new feature for our partners to reiterate to prospects during sales cycles, or customers during implementations, so they can begin to envision the integrated reporting that's possible once they are up and running in Vena! 

Note: Neither Vena Professional Services or Partners are expected to implement PowerPoint for customers. The add-in is meant to be self-service. If customers are looking for support with setting up a file to be used with the PowerPoint integration, this can be discussed directly with their Partner if a services engagement may be needed.

Vena Copilot

Vena Copilot is the only conversational AI analyst for CPM natively integrated with Microsoft 365. Vena Copilot gives everyone a dedicated AI financial analyst that works alongside them in Vena, doing tactical work for finance and producing insights for the business to unlock everyone's strategic potential.

Vena Copilot provides the following breakthrough capabilities:

  • Generative AI for CPM: VenaGPT technology combines Azure OpenAI's state-of-the-art, large language models with Vena CubeFLEX™ 
  • Your dedicated AI financial analyst: Vena Copilot leverages VenaGPT to help you quickly and easily create a flexible, dedicated AI financial analyst that is built on and controls access to a customer's organizational knowledge.
  • Native integration with Microsoft 365: Vena Copilot is able to work alongside Microsoft Copilot through Vena's native integration with Microsoft 365 to automate tasks and create a seamless flow of work.
  • Responsible, enterprise ready AI: Vena Copilot provides industry-leading generative AI enterprise security, compliance and privacy capabilities driven by ethical principles.


Please note, Vena Partners should not be activating the Copilot free trial on behalf of their client. For more details, as well as general talk tracks, edibility criteria and more, refer to the Copilot Partner SharePoint Page about this exciting new feature.

 

Export API's

Vena’s new export APIs enables customers & partners to fully integrate Vena within their respective data ecosystems, furthering their data strategy. Combined with our existing import APIs, you can now build bidirectional integrations between Vena and ERP, data warehouse, BI & ML tools, and any other system of your choice. 

Move operational and planning data efficiently across your organization and enable faster and more powerful insights for your own business or for your Vena customers that you support.

Standard Members Now GA

Seamlessly expand customer use cases in Vena by assigning Standard Members in their Financial Data Model. As an extension to last quarter’s release of Dimension Types, we are excited to introduce Standard Members - this new feature, now available in GA, enables data model members to be further classified by a Vena-defined Standard Member label. 

This classification enables other features across Vena to better interpret and connect to customer data models. Existing customers with models that have assigned Dimension Types and Standard Members are able to quickly adopt our most exciting current and upcoming features like Copilot, Insights and FX Functions.
